LAHORE: The Lahore Improvement Authority has announced the beginning of two significant development projects aimed at removing congestion for the benefit of the general public.

One of the many construction projects that have been announced for the city is the construction of a road with no signals connecting Ghora Chowk in Cantt and Bedian Road at the DHA Phase-5 roundabout.

The LDA will begin two projects to overcome the traffic jam
Cavalry Chowk will receive a four-lane underpass and Ghora Chowk will receive a four-lane flyover as part of this project. Additionally, improvements will be made to the Defense Mor intersection.

Another project that will eventually connect Defense Mor and Gulberg via the Cavalry intersection is the Firdaus Market Underpass. The specifics indicated that the signal-free project would likely cost Rs 3.2 billion.

This amount has been raised to Rs 4.2 billion to account for inflation. The errand ought to be finished in eight months.
