Wapda Town Islamabad Employees Cooperative Housing Society is a model settlement that has been created and kept up to an exacting standard by the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) — a major working authority of the Pakistan Government.
Further land acquiring for housing scheme started in Feb, 1992. The day by day developing under governed by laws and its manage and controlled by the Management Committee elected by the AGM by all members of the Society.
The Elected MC further constitutes sub-committees for the distribution of work load. Society Elections which was to be held on 25-09-2021 has been Postponed. New date will be shared later on as per the announced schedule.
